Interview with a Codie!
30/06/2007 | 12:31 GMT - Devin | Blog | Forums

The Codies!Ten years on and few British developers from the days of CD-i are still knocking around. With a few exceptions, most notably Codemasters. Affectionately known as the codies they've seen through the rise and fall of many video game formats. From Clive Sinclairs Spectrum, Atari, Amiga, Sega, Nintendo, PC the list of supported formats goes on forever. A bastion of British game development and publishing it's hardly surprising they dabbled in Philips CD-i as well.

Although as we've witnessed with many CD-i conversions, resources are limited and like 'Digital Gorillas' it came down to a few good developers to convert the Micro Machines phenomena to CD. Ashely Hogg was at the forefront of this project so we spent a little time chatting about his work besides the love note that became something of a CD-i mystery! Read more on the new article, an Interview with Ashely Hogg.

Welcome to The Black Moon Project... reload!
23/06/2007 | 14:02 GMT - Devin | Blog | Forums

It's far from complete but the renewed design should give a taste of things to come! We aim to streamline the entire website making it fairly painless to navigate the various resources at our disposal. This also entails cleaning up the webcode, which will hopefully increase compatibility regardless of your hardware and software setup. Still a 'Work In Progress' so please don't threat if you discover a few broken links!

Our main objective is to put CD-i information at the centre of your attention without the clutter. This demands a redesign of all previous Black Moon sections, including the Game Pages, Articles, Interviews right through to Game Guides and Links. It's a fairly exhaustive process but once finished should allow Black Moon to once again thrive giving you the reader access to the CD-i information you want at a click of the button.
